Cailleret is one of Chassagne-Montrachet's best Premier Cru vineyards. It is located on the midslope of the Cote d'Or at the very southern end of the famous escarpment, and is planted mainly to Chardonnay. Cailleret Premier Cru wines are medium bodied and quite rounded, displaying notes of almond, peach and citrus peel.
