Very intense, black in colour with purple undertones. Powerful nose of strawberries, raspberry and chocolate. Palate is very smooth, full and silky. Lots of concentration and layers of fruit, chocolate and tobacco. Delicious style. Very good in length, fine, elegant tannins. Very good. 17+/20. Tasted by Donal Morris, Greenacres at Chateau Leoville les Cases 9:30am 14th April 2010.
