A beautiful colour, very even ruby red. Nose of dark cherries, chocolate and hints of burnt rubber. Good acidity with a high level of fruit. A substantial wine, muscular with a lots of ripe plums, caramel, chocolate flavours. Strong tannins and a long finish 18/20 - Donal Morris, tasted April 2012.
