Intense deep black-purple colour. Nose is very intense and complex, aromas of blackberries, cherries, blackcurrants, leather, chocolate and licorice . The palate has an initial freshness, good acidity and is full bodied showing lots of concentration of cassis and chocolate. It has a elegance to it. Tannins are firm . Very well-balanced wine, delicious style with a very long finish and a lovely finesse. Superb. 19.5/20. Tasted by Donal Morris, Greenacres, 4:00pm 14th April 2010
